Our team here at Custom Culinary Events and Catering is lead by a strong and experienced team familiar with both regional Cuisine from around the country and a strong local restaurant presence in the Old Town Tomball area.

Our Executive Chef and co-owner of Custom Culinary Events, Andrew LaRue is also our Director of Culinary Operations for our sister restaurants Cisco's Salsa Company and Nonnie's Cafe & Creamery.  Andrew's list of credentials starts with a bachelors degree from the esteemed culinary school, Johnson & Wales University.  What followed was culinary journey from the east coast cities of Boston and Providence to the west coast including of San Francisco, Napa Valley and Marin County, cooking in different styles of food service, including fine dining restaurants, catering and private clubs before finding his home here Houston Texas.

Since settling down and growing with his family here in Houston for the last seven years Andrew has run and been the executive chef for one of Houston's premiere catering companies as well as a two year stint as a research and development chef for one of Houston's largest corporate restaurant groups.

Our strong local restaurant presence and stake in the community are our standalone private restaurants, Cisco's Salsa Company and Nonnie's Cafe & Creamery as well as our own event space next door to Cisco's, and access to many more in door and out door venues.



Cisco's Salsa Company was created back in 2011 by restaurateur Laura Wilson that brought excellent Baja style Mexican cuisine and an amazing craft cocktail bar to Old Town Tomball.  A few years later Nonnie's was purchased and is progressively moving a chef inspired, fresh farm to table menu concept that matches our incredible ice cream and classic hand pumped sodas.  Both restaurants have been instrumental in adding two excellent culinary destinations to an area with immeasurable charm and character in Old Town Tomball.

With the range of talent and experience in this catering company, it has lead to an amazing amount of willingness and capability to provide our clients and guests with a custom created event that gives them exactly what they want.

Not only does the range, flexibility and access to our different restaurants and event spaces in our company help satisfy our guest need for choice and quality, but it also lends itself to being able to accommodate different budgetary requirements. We can create the finest seated dinner that you can find in the city, or an authentic Italian buffet, or a gourmet picnic lunch at the Old Town Tomball Depot for any amount of guests.
